We recognise fostering can sometimes be challenging and so provide good quality support to all our foster carers and their families. Every one of our foster carers has an allocated social worker and benefits from regular supervision, telephone calls and visits. We help foster carers to help each other through our Buddy Scheme and Fostering Support Group. We even offer informal support for children from fostering families through our Participation Officer. We offer a respite entitlement and provide 24 hour / 365 day telephone support.
We invest in our foster carers, providing an excellent annual programme of training for foster carers and access to wider courses relating to children and families. Download the training brochure here.
